Event on establishment of Department for Turks living abroad and Turkic-speaking peoples to be held in Istanbul

Baku â€“ APA. Event on the establishment of the Department for the Turks living abroad and Turkic-speaking peoples under the Turkish government will be held in Istanbul on February 27, press service of Azerbaijan State Committee for Diaspora told APA. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will also attend the event. The draft law on the establishment of the department will be presented to the Turkish communities in the world, their opinion and proposals will be learned, the problems of the Turks living abroad, ways of establishing strong Turkish lobby will be discussed.

State Minister Faruk Cetin will organize the event. The Turkish communities living all over the world, representatives of Caucasian, Balkan circles in Turkey have also been invited to the event. The delegation from Azerbaijan will also attend the event. The delegation includes chief of socio-political department of the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov, chairman of the State Committee for Diaspora Nazim Ibrahimov, secretary general of Turkic-Speaking States Parliamentary Assembly Ramil Hasanov and representatives of the State Committee for Diaspora. President of the European Azerbaijanis Congress Bashar Komur, honorary president of European Azerbaijanis Congress Natig Agamirov, honorary president of Benelux Azerbaijanis Sahil Gasimov, chairman of the Ukrainian Azerbaijanisâ€™ Congress Akif Gulmammadov, chairman of Belarus Azerbaijanis Congress Natig Bagirov and heads of other Azerbaijani Diaspora organizations will participate in the event.
