Azerbaijani embassy in Turkey to hold events on 18th anniversary of Khojaly tragedy

Ankara-APA. Azerbaijani embassy in Turkey will hold a series of events on 18th anniversary of Khojaly tragedy. Within the framework of these events conference on â€œBleeding wound in Azerbaijan- Khojaly genocideâ€ will be held at dentistry faculty at Gazi University on February 24, press service of the embassy told APA. An event titled â€œKhojaly genocide - no word to sayâ€ in â€œMemar Kamaladdinâ€ hall of this university will be held on February 25. Presentation of the website www.hocaliyaadadlet-tr.com created by the support of embassy, representation of â€œJustice for Khojalyâ€ in Ankara and signature collection campaign will be held at the event. A serious of events will be held at Kechioren municipality in Ankara on February 26. First, wreath will be put on the monument of â€œKhojaly genocide victimsâ€ at municipality, speeches will be delivered. Then an exhibition titled â€œKhojaly dramâ€ will be opened at Estergon castle. After the opening of exhibition, the film â€œKhojaly Genocideâ€ shot by the support of Haydar Aliyev Foundation will be demonstrated, signatures will be collected within the framework of campaign â€œJustice for Khojalyâ€. Exhibition will last 1 week. Conference titled â€œDonâ€™t forget Khojaly, donâ€™t force to forgetâ€ will be held at 15.00. Besides, press-releases will be sent to embassies in Ankara and Turkish Foreign Ministry. Writings enlightening the tragedy will be published at local Mass Media, invited professor and teachersâ€™ staff will present and deliver speech at Khojaly events in on-air program at TRT-Avaz channel. Also commemorate days are expected to be held at different educational institutions in Ankara with the participation of Azerbaijani students. Students studying in Ankara, our compatriots, representatives of non-governmental organizations, official representatives, heads of foreign embassies in the country, teacher and student staff from educational institutions in different cities of Turkey will attend the events of the embassy.
