Justice for Khojaly campaign schedules series of events

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev â€“ APA. Series of events within the Justice for Khojaly campaign will be held in near 30 countries from February 23 to March 1. The campaign was started in February 2009 on the initiative of General Coordinator of Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation (ICYFDC) Leila Aliyeva. ICYFDC Secretary General Elshad Iskandarov said the campaign aimed to inform the international community about Khojaly genocide, to reach international evaluation and commemoration of the tragedy. The international coordination of the action is provided via www.justiceforkhojaly.org.
He said US rap singer Tony Blackman and Azerbaijanâ€™s â€œDeyirmanâ€ group have already completed work on rap album â€œJustice for Khojalyâ€. The song will deliver realities of Khojaly to the world. â€œWe published and spread many books about Khojaly tragedy and Karabakh realities as well. We worked for the countries and international organizations to recognize Khojaly genocide as a crime against humanity. We will address the Council of Europe, EU, UN and other organizations, as well as US President and Congress, leaderships of Turkey and other countries on the eve of anniversary of the tragedy. The work will be continued in future tooâ€.
