Farit Mukhametshin: Russia attaches great importance to the forum in Baku

Baku. Viktoria Dementieva â€“ APA. The 1st Azerbaijan-Russia Forum on Humanitarian Cooperation continues within the framework of sections in Baku, APA reports. Chief of foreign affairs department of Azerbaijanâ€™s Presidential Administration Novruz Mammadov and head of Russian Federal Agency Farit Mukhametshin chaired the section on nongovernmental organizations. Prior to the section, Farit Mukhametshin told journalists that the forum would help the development of the relations between Azerbaijani and Russian communities.
â€œA unique forum is being held in Baku. Famous figures of Russian and Azerbaijani science, culture, education, sport have gathered in Baku. We are studying each otherâ€™s experience to develop our relations in the field of public diplomacy. Therefore, Russia attaches great importance to this forum,â€ he said.

Chairman of the State Committee for Diaspora Nazim Ibrahimov said Azerbaijan had always attached great importance to the development of the relations with Russia.
â€œParticipation of large delegation from Russia shows that Russia is also interested in the development of the relations with Azerbaijan,â€ he said.
