During January-May of 2024, the volume of cargo transported in the transport corridors passing through the territory of Azerbaijan amounted to 13648,4 thousand tons, APA-Economics reports citing State Statistics Committee.
According to the Committee, 6 227,4 thousand tons or 45,6% of the cargo was transported by rail, 4 245,2 thousand tons or 31,1% was transported by road, 3 175,8 thousand tons or 23,3% was transported by sea transport.
"59,5% or 8 124,3 tons of cargo transported through the corridors were made up of transit cargo," the Committee states.
