Middle Corridor is the shortest, most reliable, and most cost-efficient transport project connecting China to Europe. We have implemented very serious projects to realize its potential, Fariz Aliyev, the head of the Transport Policy Department of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, said at the "Middle Corridor: perspectives and challenges" panel organized within the framework of the Baku Energy Week, APA-Economics reports.
He stated that the Middle Corridor is attracting the attention of the global community, and in the medium to long term period, shipments through this corridor are planned to reach 11 million tons initially and then 30 million tons.
