US Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Bonnie Jenkins arrived in Azerbaijan to attend the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, US Embassy to Azerbaijan wrote on X account, APA reports.
"This week, US Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Bonnie Jenkins is in Azerbaijan for COP29. Despite a heavy schedule of meetings, she was able to take a quick side trip to Baku’s Old City to see the country’s rich culture and historical architecture up close. She also tried some delicious Azerbaijani food, including local honey and tandir with pandir (traditional bread with cheese)," reads the post.
