"If we unite our efforts in the fight against climate change, we will achieve more results," Morgan Griffith, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, said at today's press conference APA reports.
He pointed out that the state of Virginia, which he represents in Congress, has natural gas reserves, and its economy is directly dependent on this resource.
The congressman emphasized that providing Virginia with ecologically clean electricity has been set as the number one priority: "This is crucial for solving the climate problem. Research is currently being conducted in our state in this direction. Therefore, I urge all parties to engage in broader efforts towards achieving the Climate Agreement. This activity is crucial for the future of our planet as a whole."
