Today, within the framework of COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijani NGO activists held a protest organized by the Eurasian Migration Initiatives Platform to protest the pressure and intolerable approach towards migrants in Europe, APA reports.

During the protest, posters were raised with slogans such as "Climate justice, not borders!", "No land, no borders!", "The climate crisis knows no nation," "Climate refugees deserve a home," "Fight climate change, not immigrants!", "Protect people, protect the planet!", "Migration is a human right!", "Climate justice is migration justice!" and others.
Adil Adilzade, chairman of the "New Life - Economic Development" Public Union, told APA that pressure on migrants in Europe must end and human rights must be protected.
Adil Adilzade emphasized that the goal of the action is to draw attention to migrants whose rights are violated in Europe.
