"Our country is ready to provide comprehensive support to Azerbaijan within the framework of COP29," President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said as he addressed the Informal Summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Shusha, APA reports.
He expressed his belief that an agreement to establish a Climate Change Mitigation Center would be reached at the mentioned event:
"This region is more sensitive to climate change issues. I believe that we will be able to reach an agreement to establish a Climate Change Mitigation Center at the event. COP29 will be a monumental historical event for the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States. I wish Azerbaijan success. We are ready to actively participate in this event and provide comprehensive support to Azerbaijan. An increase in mutual trade turnover is expected this year, and we are interested in continuing this trend. Additionally, several digital systems have been established within the framework of the OTS. I hope that we will also achieve the creation of the Railway Management Union within the organization, with its headquarters located in Tashkent."
