A roundtable titled “29th Conference of the Parties to the Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 29) as a Factor for Expanding Cooperation Between Russia and Azerbaijan” was held in Yekaterinburg, Russia, APA’s Russia bureau reports.
The event was facilitated by the Consulate General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Yekaterinburg and co-organized by the Russian Center for European and Asian Studies and the Center for Analysis of International Relations, moderated by Andrey Rusakov, the director of the Center for European and Asian Studies.
During the event, the significance of the roundtable ahead of the COP29 session in Baku, along with global climate issues was discussed and the discussions focused on the special importance that Azerbaijan and Russia place on the topic and their cooperation efforts.
