"We are ready to respond to this challenge together with Azerbaijan, Georgia and Hungary, and now Bulgaria and perhaps the Republic of Moldova, we will form this green corridor connecting Central Asia with Europe and play the role of an energy bridge," the Minister of Energy of Romania, Sebastian-Ioan Burduja, said this at the plenary session of the Ministerial Meeting on COP29 Energy Initiatives (Launch of the Global Energy Storage and Grids Provision) within the framework of COP29, APA reports.

"I think we are facing a seemingly impossible dilemma in the world today: Secure energy, affordable and competitive energy, green energy. Nelson Mandela once said that something always seems impossible until it's done. So now we have to implement that, and to do that I think we need three things. The first is to break these bonds, which represent the world closed by these green corridors and which we must create for the welfare of our people", the minister noted.
