"Thanks to the Digital Bridge initiative, which processes approximately 1.5 million transactions daily in Azerbaijan, the environmental impact has significantly decreased," Rashad Nabiyev, the Minister of Digital Development and Transport, during his speech at the High-Level Roundtable on the Green Digital Action Program, APA reports.
"Furthermore, Azerbaijan actively uses satellite observations to monitor ecological changes such as drought, desertification, and water resource management. This transformation also has a considerable impact on the environment. Solar power stations use renewable energy for more than 60% of the time, significantly reducing energy consumption and emissions," the minister added.
