"It is expected that an agreement on green financing terms will be reached within the framework of COP29," Kazakhstan's Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Yerlan Nyssanbayev told journalists, APA reports.
"Overall, I believe the most important expectation is to finally define the goals of green financing. There are many questions and discussions surrounding green financing. Here, we see that there are differing views between developed and developing countries, but in principle, the key issue that pre-defines all of our work and the results of countries is, of course, green financing. We hope that an agreement on green financing terms will be reached at COP29; this is the key issue," the Minister noted.
