Climate activists in Baku organized a protest during the 29th session of the Conference of Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), demanding more funding against climate change, APA reports.
Foreign NGO representatives gathered in the designated protest area within the Blue Zone and demanded more financial resources for fighting climate change.
The activists held various placards and chanted slogans. Many of the participants, representing small states, called on larger countries—responsible for greater pollution—to allocate more funding for climate change mitigation efforts.
