Fatih Terim mentioned that he had the opportunity to speak with the club's head coach, Gurban Gurbanov, and emphasized his special respect for him: "I believe more clubs will join the Football Clubs Alliance for Climate. COP29 has been organized at a high level in Baku. I have always come to dear Azerbaijan as a brother and have received great respect. I extend my heartfelt thanks to dear Azerbaijan and its people for their hospitality."
