"As COP29 presidency, Azerbaijan's vision for the future is to strengthen claims," Nigar Arpadarai, COP29's high-level climate champion, said at the round table on "Agenda for Just Transition Partnership and Investment Stimulation", APA reports.
She underlined that the main topic of COP29 will be finance: "The transition should be fair. As COP29 presidency, we have put forward about 14 initiatives. These initiatives are designed to cover all areas. As a local champion, my role is to bring non-state actors here. We are thinking of involving the private sector here."
