As part of ongoing efforts to promote sustainability and practical solutions, the COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company held workshops for secondary school students, COP29 Azerbaijan OC told APA.
The workshops aimed to educate eighth and ninth grade pupils from several Baku schools about the challenges posed by climate change, highlighting the role and responsibilities of every member of society in addressing these issues and making eco-conscious decisions. Students received detailed briefings on the Sustainable Development Goals , international climate initiatives and agreements, and their impact on global climate policy.
COP29 representatives also briefed students on the significance of COP29 in Baku. The workshop ended with an interactive Q&A session and engaging activities aimed at fostering positive climate action amongst the youth.
