"Azerbaijan's doors are open to anyone who wants to become a party to productive negotiations," said COP29 Lead Negotiator, Deputy Foreign Minister Yalchin Rafiyev at today's press conference of the COP29 Presidency as a response to a question from Agence France-Presse about the cancellation of the French minister's visit to Azerbaijan, APA reports.
He said that Azerbaijan hosted more than 80 world leaders at this conference, and hundreds of ministers came to Baku to contribute to the work of COP29:
"All steps taken are calculated to ensure the effective conduct of the negotiation process. We are ready to welcome anyone who wishes to participate in productive discussions and declares their intention to become a party to the negotiations into our country."
