Today, within the framework of COP29, the "COP Legacy - Civil Society Discussions on Climate Finance" was held, APA reports.
According to the report, the event, jointly organized by NGOs from the UAE, the COP28 country, Azerbaijan, the COP29 country, and Brazil, the COP30 country, discussed the current status and future potential of climate finance in these regions.
Executive Director of the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations, member of the COP29 organizing committee Aygun Aliyeva, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, an UAE representative Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, Co-Chair of the UAE Climate Network Rasha Bayoumi, Executive Secretary of the Brazilian Climate Change Panel, Associate Professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro Andrea Souza Santos delivered speech at the event.
