The State Fire Control Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan held another meeting, the press service of the Ministry told APA.
The meeting was organized for the purpose of reliable provision of fire safety in the area of the Sumgayit regional State fire control department of the State Fire Control Service, located in the area of important, potentially dangerous facilities, as well as in the residential sector, and at the same time to discuss the tasks ahead and their solutions.
The meeting was attended by employees of the State Fire Control Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, representatives of the Sumgayit City Executive Authority, managers of the Housing Development Area, mayors.
At the meeting, cleaning of areas where domestic and industrial waste is illegally collected, restoration of faulty fire water pools and hydrants, and the fire situation of important and potentially dangerous enterprises, residential buildings, and objects where people gather in large numbers were discussed, shortcomings and violations were brought to attention and relevant tasks were given to the relevant organizations regarding the elimination of problems.
At the meeting, plans for taking necessary measures related to the strengthening of mutual activity in order to reliably ensure fire safety on the eve of COP29 were discussed.
