The head of state stated that significant progress has been made in the COP29 negotiation process. Specifically, on Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, which has been under discussion for over 10 years, the first results have been achieved, and negotiations in this area will continue. The President also highlighted that statements from international financial institutions about a new financial target are viewed as positive signals.
He expressed hope that a new financial target will be established at COP29, stressing that developing countries, in particular, have high expectations on this matter.
