On September 30, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan under the leadership of Minister of Emergency Situations Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov to discuss relevant security issues in preparation for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), which will take place in Baku this November, APA reports citing MES.
In his speech at the meeting, Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov emphasized the significance of COP29, which will be held in Baku this November, as a further confirmation of Azerbaijan’s high international reputation under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev and discussed the responsibilities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in connection with the preparations for this prestigious event.
Concluding the meeting, Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov issued relevant instructions to ensure the high-level execution of the tasks assigned to various departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations concerning the upcoming important event in Baku.
