Up to date, nearly 3,000 journalists have registered to participate in the COP29 conference, Ayan Najaf, a member of the Coordinating Council of the COP29 Operating Company, told journalists at a seminar on understanding and analyzing ESG (environmental, social and governance, APA-Economics reports.
According to her, COP29 is attracting a lot of attention from both local and international media: “To date, nearly 3,000 international press representatives have registered to participate in COP29. Among them are representatives of local mass media. The media accreditation process to work in the "blue" zone ends on October 21. At the same time, the organizing committee started the process of accreditation of journalists to work in the "green" zone some time ago, and this registration will end at the end of October. Currently, we have about 150 applications for accreditation to the "green" zone," she added.
