Foreigners violating rules of stay in Russia to be deported for 10 years

This is due to the amendments to the Russian Federation’s Migration Law, which entered into force on January 10, the APA correspondent to Moscow reports.
According to the amendment, foreign citizens who exceed the 180-day (six months) term for stay in Russia will be banned from entering into Russia, and if the term permitted is exceeded over 280 days, the deportation period will be 10 years.
The amendments made to the law on labor migrants came into force in Russia on January 1, 2015. According to the amendments, all migrants should obtain a labor patent in the country. Migrants who want to live and work in Russia is to explain the purpose of their arrival, and then they can receive a labor patent. They are required to pass examination in the Russian language and history.
