Moscow–APA. More than 100 people have been killed in Russia this year because of racial-nationalist and religious discrimination (xenophobia). Director of Moscow Human Rights Bureau Alexander Brod said 113 people were killed and at least 340 wounded as a result of 245 incidents in January-October, 2008, APA quotes Interfax agency. Most of racial attacks occurred in Moscow City and Moscow Region (48 deaths and at least 162 injuries) and St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region (19 deaths and at least 36 injuries) and Sverdlovsk Region (6 deaths, 8 injuries). Most victims of the racial and nationalist attacks are Uzbeks (17 deaths, 22 injuries), Kyrgyz people (10 deaths, 5 injuries), Tajik people (9 deaths, 35 injuries), Russians (8 deaths, 34 injuries), Azerbaijanis (8 deaths, 23 injuries) and Armenians (4 deaths, 3 injuries).

According to the statistics there are nearly 70 thousand skinhead and other radicals in Russia.
