Explosion occurs on rail track in Moscow

Police said no one was injured in a blast early Tuesday morning near railway tracks in southern Moscow, a law enforcement source said.
"Investigators have completed an inspection of the blast scene... A maintenance team started work to repair the main track at 07:30 (04:30 GMT)," the source said, adding that trains had not been affected and were running on time.
According to preliminary information, the explosion occurred around 04:20 a.m. (01:20 GMT) and was caused by a home-made explosive device left near tracks between the Buryulevo-Tovarnaya and Bulatnikovo stations in southern Moscow.
The source said specialists were working to try and establish the type and size of the device used.
He said that a number of sleepers and power lines had been damaged.
