Georgian opposition starts regular protest actions this week

Secretary General of Georgian Conservative Party Kakha Kukava stated that they would present their demands to the President Mikhail Saakashvili . Their will demand to release political prisoners and ensure freedom of media. Moreover, the protest actions will be scheduled soon.
The opposition party wants to hold protest action in Rustaveli Avenue. The meeting will be concluded before President’s Office in Avlabar Square. The protest action will bring together Conservative Party, National, New Rights and Labourist Parties and Movement for All Georgia. The opposition party held protest action in Rustaveli Avenue on November 7, 2007. The clash between the police action injured 600 and 30 were arrested as a result of protest action.
