President of Ingushetia resigned

Moscow â€“APA Russian President Dmitri Medvedev has accepted the resignation of the leader of the country’s Republic of Ingushetia, APA reports
Mr. Medvedev named Yunus-Bek Yevkurov as Ingushetia’s acting president. Yevkurov has been serving as deputy chief of the Volga-Urals Military Region. Interfax agency reported that Murat Zyazikov says he resigned to take another job in Moscow.
There were many attacks on officials of law enforcement bodies in Ingushetia recently. Several assassinations were organized for relatives of Zyazikov and high rank officials of the Republic in a month.
Zyazikov , who has led the Republic since 2002, was criticized after murder of Ingush oppositionist Magomed Yevloyev by the police. Family of Yevloyev announced the President deadly enemy after the incident.
