Viktor Yushchenko signs order to reschedule parliamentary elections

APA reports that the elections scheduled for December 7 has been delayed for a week. Viktor Yushchneko said Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko bore responsibility for the rescheduling of the elections. He said the presidentâ€™s order to hold early elections had been executed neither by the government nor by Prime Minister. Therefore Ukrainian National Security Council recommended the president to reschedule the elections for December 14. Yushchenko also promised that the dissolved parliament would resume its work for a few days. He said the related order would be signed on Monday. According to president, temporary restoration of the parliamentâ€™s work was connected with the adoption of some laws against crisis.
President Yushchenko signed an order to dissolve the parliament and hold early elections in October.
