Technical decision on withdrawal of Georgia from CIS adopted

CIS Executive Secretary Sergey Lebedev stated that withdrawal of Georgia from the organization did not cause to separation of CIS. Representative of any other countries did not announce to leave CIS during todayâ€™s meeting.
Lebedev added that other CIS member countries were interested in restoration of good neighboring and constructive relations with Georgia. Lebedev noted that doors of CIS were open for Georgia and if country leadership decides to return the organization, the issue will be solved positively. To him, Georgia will continue its participation in CIS documents coinciding with its interests.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov also participates in the meeting.
