Kiev–APA. Ukraine’s Supreme Rada did not approve the five law amendments adopted on September 2 and vetoed by the President and the amendments have not come into force. Yulia Tymoshenko Block, which intended to establish new coalition with the Our Ukraine – People’s Self-Defense Block and to prevent Parliament dissolution, accepted President Victor Yushchenko’s terms, APA quotes UNIAN agency. The Prime Minister’s faction did not vote for the elimination of the veto put by President Yushchenko on the amendments restricted the President’s power. BYuT adopted these amendments together with the Party of Regions and left the government coalition with Our Ukraine.
However President Yushchenko concerns that the amendments rejected today will be adopted again in future. Calling such action as a political fraud and saying that he was tired of such policy, President Yushchenko said at the press conference in Lviv that there was no guarantee that the amendments would be adopted 10 days later. “I am advocating for consultations and will give a chance to the political forces to launch dialogue. But I will use the right to dissolve the Parliament if there is no statement about the establishing of coalition until 00.00 tonight”.
