Technical commission announces pilots’ error caused Perm plane crash

Moscow –APA. Experts of technical commission investigated Boeing 737-500 crash in Perm announced preliminary results of investigation. The experts denied versions of engine failure and said that problem in the automatic speed regulation system couldn’t cause the crash, APA quotes Russian Kommersant newspaper. The technical commission considered possible the version of pilots’ error. Some experts said that pilots kept the altitude instead of landing in the extreme situation. Tapes of conversations between the pilots and dispatchers showed that the pilots were informed about the altitude by the dispatchers. Kommersant said the pilots had less experience of flight in Boeing 737-500. They mostly piloted Tu-134 ad An-24.
88 people died as a result of crash of plane flying from Moscow to Perm. There were 12 Azerbaijanis among the plane crash victims.
