Victor Yushchenko accuses Yulia Tymoshenko in betraying talks with Victor Yanukovich

Kiev –APA. Ukrainian President Victor Yushchenko said Yulia Tymoshenko’s Bloc and the Party of Regions were making their alliance, established de-facto on September 2, official. Yushchenko said in his interview with the Associated Press that “backstage and betraying talks†were going for half of a month, APA reports. He said the alliance based not on the national interests, but on the deployment of posts wouldn’t exist for long time. The head of state emphasized that they would solve the crisis only through the democratic political procedures. “The Ukrainian democracy will not recede from its positions. Some leaders can yield these positions, but not the nation. The Nation is on the way of democracy and will not accept any scenario brought from outsideâ€.
Our Ukraine Party also makes Yulia Tymoshenko answerable for the collapse of democratic coalition and estimated her deal with the Party of Regions and communists as a deliberate betrayal. “We understand that coalition between Yulia Tymoshenko and the Party of Regions threatens the country. Our Ukraine will move to the parliamentary opposition immediately after the registration of new coalition. We will make efforts to unite public forces, who consider freedom, security and independence of Ukraine as the higher valuesâ€, Our Ukraine said in its statement.
