“Does anybody want a minute silence? There is no need,” joked Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
He also offered to put forward new candidate for the post of chairman of the parliament.
Speaker said one of the pages of Ukraine’s political history had been turned over and a new page opened.
“I would not call it apocalypse. Yes, this is another test for democracy. But I hope that we will pass this test successfully,” he said.

Leader of Regions’ Party Viktor Yanukovich said they were against holding early elections.
“We have witnessed an unusual historical event. We can say that the cart carrying democratic coalition has reached the place – get off,” he said.

Leader of the Communist Party Pyotr Simonenko said procedures should start for Viktor Yushchenko’s impeachment.
“Yushchenko is a criminal. We have reasons to say so. Procedures should start to remove him from power and free Ukraine from this nationalist faction,” he said.
