Levon Ter-Petrosyan: â€œSerzh Sargsyan rules the country with the thiefâ€™s lawsâ€

Yerevanâ€“APA. Levon Ter-Petrosyanâ€™s Armenian National Congress held a meeting in the center of Yerevan on September 15. Essence of the current power in the country was not changed and the regime guides with not the stateâ€™s laws, but with the thiefâ€™s laws, said Ter-Petrosyan at the meeting, APA quotes the Armenian sites. â€œThere is no political and economic progress in the country wrapping with tyranny and plundering, racket is an essence of the government. The criminal economic policy of the government will lead us to the hard winter and deep crisis in the springâ€, said Ter-Petrosyan and added that the government was like monolith in Kocharyanâ€™s time and now is cracking. He exemplified the dashnacksâ€™ protest action during the visit of Turkish President Abdullah Gul to Armenia on Serzh Sargsyanâ€™s invitation. The opposition leader said Armenia never faced with such outside pressure like now. â€œUsually non-legitimate, corrupted and muddy powers become subject of such pressureâ€. The former president said Serzh Sargsyan legitimized himself at the expense of the countryâ€™s interests and demonstrated readiness to make concessions in the issues like â€œArmenian genocideâ€ and Armenia-Turkey relations. He said solution of the Nagorno Karabakh problem was also threatened. â€œI donâ€™t see any country in the world that will recognize the Nagorno Karabakh independence. The West intends to join actively the process of solution to spite Russia. Serzh Sargsyan cringles before this pressure like under the hypnosisâ€. Ter-Petrosyan said trilateral Armenia-Turkey-Azerbaijan meeting was dangerous. â€œSerzh Sargsyan can trouble the Nagorno Karabakh solution with these reverences. He auctions the Nagorno Karabakh problem with his egoist approachâ€. Ter-Petrosyan said he was against the trilateral meetings during his presidency.
Armenian opposition will hold its next meeting on September 26.
