Aeroflot cuts cooperation with company owning crashed plane

Moscow - APA. Aeroflot Company has cut cooperation with Aeroflot-Nord Company which owned the plane crashed yesterday. APA reports quoting RIA Novosti that Aeroflot-Nord will not be allowed to use the Aeroflot brand name.
"When it comes to our reputation and image, we paid too great a price," Aeroflot Director General Valery Okulov said.
The plane en route Moscow-Perm is owned by subsidiary Aeroflot-Nord, not by Aeroflot. Aeroflot holds a 51 percent stake and Aviainvest 49 percent stake. Valery Okulov said they had carried out special investigation and had some versions. He said Aeroflot-Nord, which rented the planes owned by Aeroflot, was responsible for the crash.
