Russia establishes diplomatic relations with South Ossetia

Moscow-APA. Russian Federation has established diplomatic relations with South Ossetia, APA reports quoting RIA Novosti.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Moscow and Tskhinvali made exchange of note on establishment of diplomatic relations. Establishment of diplomatic relations with Abkhazia is expected as well.
Russia recognized independence of South Ossetia and Abkhazia on August 26.
