Gamsakhurdia’s son put on trial

Tbilisi-APA. The son of the first Georgian President Zviad Gamsakhurdia has been brought to trial.
Tsotne Gamsakhurdia’s lawyer stated that his client was accused of wounding a person in Tbilisi in 1999.
Ex-President’s son, wanted for alleged espionage for Russia and alleged conspiracy to overthrow the government, was reportedly arrested on September 3 at Tbilisi International Airport upon arriving from Moscow via Baku. The accusation on Tsotne Gamsakhurdia’s planning a coup against the government and spying for Russia has not been proved yet.
