Serzh Sargsyan explains why Armenia does not recognize independence of Georgia’s separatist regions

Yerevan–APA. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan explained why Yerevan did not recognize independence of Georgia’s separatist regions South Ossetia and Abkhazia. Sargsyan said his country could not recognize independence of any analogical subject before the recognition of “Nagorno Karabakh Republicâ€, APA reports. “We did not recognize independence of South Ossetia and Abkhazia for that reason which caused us not to recognize Kosovo’s independence. Armenia cannot recognize independence of any analogical subject before the “Nagorno Karabakh Republic†is recognized in the period of Nagorno Karabakh conflictâ€.
