Russia not to return spoils of war captured in Georgia

Moscow â€“ APA. Russia will not return the US-made weapons captured from the military bases of Georgia. APA reports quoting RIA Novosti that deputy chief of Russian Armed Forces headquarters Anatoli Nogovitsin said main part of the weapons would be destroyed.
â€œWe are not going to give back these weapons. Georgians left the weapons and ran away. Why should we return them? There is a notion of spoils of war. Russian army does not need weapons and we are not going to use them. Georgian servicemen, who used both Russia-made and US-made weapons, once more saw that our weapons are more effective,â€ he said.
