One of the American experts, Daniel Wilams said that they are studying cooperation opportunities between Georgia and US in aeronavigation sphere.
Georgian government announced its decision to build radar station on the shore of the Black Sea in mid August. The radar will be connected to the common air space control system and will make possible to take control over territorial waters of Georgia. The project is worth $ 1 000 000. Radar is bought from France. Georgian specialists to work at the station had trainings in France. The analogical station will be built in Eastern Georgia next year.
Some Georgian newspapers say that American experts’ visit has another aim. They think that Americans investigate the possibility of deploying missile defense system in Batumi and nearby./APA/
