Georgian Foreign Ministry reports to opposition on David Garedji cloister

Deputy foreign minister of Georgia, chief of the commission on delimitation and demarcation of state borders Georgy Manchgaladze reported the issue regarding David Garedji cloister to parliament’s opposition faction, APA Georgia bureau reports.
The deputy minister’s meeting with the representatives of the opposition is close. Representatives of Foreign Ministry, Border Police and Georgian religious circles attended the meeting.
One of the leaders of Democratic front faction Zviad Dzidziguri told the APA Georgia bureau that the government had told them that opposition will be informed of the negotiations.
“The main thing is to solve the border-related problems in line with Georgia’s interests,” he said.
Georgy Manchgaladze said the briefing before the meeting that the representatives of the opposition will be informed of the negotiations on delimitation of borders with Azerbaijan.
He said that the next meeting of Azerbaijani-Georgian commission on delimitation and demarcation of borders will be held in July-August. /APA/
