Mikhail Saakashvili hesitates in attending CIS informal summit

Georgia’s President Mikhail Saakashvili has not made up his mind whether to attend the informal summit of CIS heads of state in St. Petersburg on June 10, Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bejuashvili told journalists that President Mikhail Saakashvili has been officially invited to the summit, APA Georgian bureau reports.
He said that Georgian side wants meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in case the President attends the summit.
Bejuashvili said if President Saakashvili determines to participate in the summit, this decision will be publicized.
“If the President meets with Vladimir Putin, they will debate on matters of urgency, including regional security,” he said.
Mikhail Saakashvili was scheduled to make a two-day visit to Kyiv tomorrow, it has been postponed till the end of May. /APA/
