George Bush thanks Georgia for sending extra contingent to Iraq

The US President George Bush expressed his gratitude to Georgian government for sending extra contingent of 2,000 soldiers to Iraq, APA’s Georgia bureau reports.
The US President said at the US Air Force base in Macdil, Florida that he highly appreciates the decision of the Georgian government.
“Over 30 states back military operations in Iraq. I express my gratitude to 17 NATO states for having deployed their troops to Iraq or taken part in training of Iraqi troops,” the president said. /APA/
