Georgia Tourism Department to participate in â€ATIF-2007â€ tourism exhibition in Baku

â€œATIF-2007â€ tourism exhibition to be held in Baku from April 18 to 20 will be attended by a delegation from Georgiaâ€™s Tourism Department. Georgia Tourism Department told APA that stands of Georgia mountain tourism resorts and Black Sea resorts will be demonstrated at the exhibition. The demonstration of the stands of Adjaristan Tourism departments is also expected. Adjaristan Tourism Departmentâ€™s Information centre is also to be opened in Baku. The Centre aims to popularize Adjaristan Autonomy Republicâ€™s tourism potential. According to Georgia Tourism Department, 2000 tourists visited Adjaristan last year. It means last year indicator increased by 400 percent.
It is intended that 45 thousand tourists come to rest in Georgiaâ€™s Black Sea resorts from Armenia this year. Adjaristan Tourism department planned to open information centre in Yerevan this year. Commercials on Adjaristanâ€™s tourism potential will be demonstrated in three Azerbaijan TV channels on May-June, this year.
A tender was announced on the 10, 20, 30 minute commercials already. /APA/
