APA reports quoting ITAR-TASS that the police tried to stop a black Mercedes near the village of Baksansk on the border of the Prokhladnensky District. A grenade was thrown from the vehicle. A shootout lasted for 10 minutes. No police officers were injured.
Three militants were killed in the vehicle. The police found a submachine gun and two pistols, two bombs with timers. One of the militants had a grenade.
