APA’s Moscow bureau reports that Putin’s supporters and opposition representatives addressed the Moscow Mayor’s Office for holding a rally near Kremlin on March 4-5. The Mayor’s Office allowed Putin supporters to hold rally in Lyubyanskaya square because they were first to address the Mayor’s Office. But opposition supporters blamed Mayor’s Office in taking side and yielding to Putin’s supporters.

The Mayor’s Office informed opposition supporters that they will be allowed to hold rally outside the city.

The opposition supporters planned to encamp at the squares around Kremlin. It is reported that they want to reiterate “orange revolution” scenario realized in Ukraine in 2004.
