Twenty Injured as Gas Cylinder Explodes in Southwest Russia

Baku-APA. Twenty people were injured on Tuesday in Volgograd when a gas cylinder exploded in a café in the southwest Russian city’s center, APA reports quoting RIA Novosti
“Café visitors and staff were injured. People were hospitalized with burns of 10 to 40 percent of the body. Three are in serious condition,†Natalya Kunitskaya, a spokeswoman for the regional Investigative Committee department, said.
The gas cylinder that exploded had been used to heat the Italian cuisine café. No one was injured in a fire that followed the blast.
The weather in the Volgograd Region has been unusually cold in the last few days, and businessmen use additional devices to heat the premises.
