Baku-APA. Police in Russia’s Sverdlovsk Region in the Urals have detained a young man who had stolen 23 kg (50.7 pounds) of marijuana from a drug dealer, the Interior Ministry said on Thursday, APA reports quoting RIA Novosti.
Police said the 21-year-old suspect, a resident of the town of Asbest, was spotted on the roof of a garage with two bags that contained the drug.
He admitted to stealing the marijuana, saying he decided to take revenge on the drug dealer who had refused to sell him the illegal drug.
The dealer was arrested later and more marijuana was seized from him.
The men face up to ten years in prison for keeping illicit drugs.
